Hi everyone! I know it's been awhile since I've updated Brisbee Downs. The truth is that my computer fried and I ended up getting a whole new computer. I was going to re-create all the sims from Brisbee...but with everything going on in my life I just never got around to it.
However, I just got the Sims 3 and am happy to say that I am having a good time playing it. I've started a new blog just for my sims 3 adventures. If you'd like to check it out please visit:

My first post is up and I'd love for you to meet my new sim, Patty Bumble! Head over and check it out!

The Heart of the City
April 2012, spring - Daryl Clayton is 42 and Jan Tellerman is 24.

Daryl Clayton and his girlfriend Jan Tellerman live in the heart of Teesbury City. It's a busy and noisy city and these two love birds wouldn't have it any other way. They live in a 3rd story apartment right in the middle of all the action, and you can't beat the view from their bedroom windows. Daryl and Jan thrive off the buzz of the downtown city area.

Both Romance sims, Daryl and Jan are used to a fast-paced and fun-filled life. They've dated each other for a couple of years now, but neither of them wanted anything serious. However, when they found out that Jan was pregnant they both decided they should move in together. Jan didn't want to raise a baby by herself (how would she ever find time to party?!) and Daryl didn't really mind the idea of having a beautiful woman close by for woohoo'ing any time of the day or night!
While it's true that Jan is over 20 years younger than Daryl, it has never bothered her before. And Daryl sure doesn't seem to mind the age difference. He's still a very handsome man and treats Jan like a princess, so Jan is more than happy to be with him even though he's technically old enough to be her father.

After a few months of playing house together, Daryl and Jan had settled into a nice routine. Daryl could hang out with his friends whenever he wanted and he even dated a few other women. Jan likewise could do the same, although it was harder for her to find other men who wanted to date her since she was increasingly pregnant and all. But neither Daryl nor Jan quite knew how their lives were about to change.
Jan went into labor one night in the middle of Daryl's favorite show. Jan should of known right then that Daryl wasn't going to be a doting father. He waited till his show was over before finally taking Jan to the hospital!

The couple didn't really want to be parents in the first place, so when they found out that it was twins (a girl and a boy, Hannah and Levi) instead of just one baby, they panicked. Daryl really didn't want to raise any more kids. He already has 2 grown sons, Trevor and Jesse, who are both in college. And Jan is so young that sometimes she might as well be a child too. She's only 3 years older than his oldest son! And now he has 2 more babies to raise. He can't help but think that he'll by 61 years old before these two are old enough to be on their own.
But there's really no choice now, so he's just going to have to do his best. And he's sure these kids will grow on him eventually.

Unfortunately, both Daryl and Jan had a rough time adjusting to their new life with twin babies. They often had "other things to do" and left the babies in the care of anyone who walked by. Even their landlord ended up doing baby duty.

Their friends (and the landlord) finally had enough of being coerced or sometimes tricked into babysitting while the couple went out on the town. So Daryl and Jan found themselves having to hire an official nanny.
"How soon can you be here?" Daryl said when the nanny asked when she should start.
The nanny seemed puzzled. "Usually I just watch the children when the parents are at work..."
"Well, can you watch our children all the time?" Daryl asked.

The nanny came over right away at Daryl's request. She found the apartment door open and let herself in. Poor Levi was just layin on the floor with an empty bottle close by. The nanny could hear Hannah screaming from the nursery.
"What kind of parents are these?" the nanny wondered as she heard sounds coming from the master bedroom.

"I think the nanny's here," Jan said as she got out of bed. They couldn't resist a little afternoon woohoo, after all.
"Good. I'm going to take a nap," Daryl said.
It's not that Daryl and Jan are bad parents really, they just find themselves too busy to do all of the work that comes with taking care of the babies...especially when they know someone else is around (or paid) to do it.

Later that evening, the nanny woke Daryl up from his 4 hour nap. "Mister Clayton, sir...it's time for me to go now. Hannah's napping and Levi just had a bottle. Here you go," she said as she handed Daryl his son.
"Um, thanks. You think you could hang out here a little while longer? At least until Jan gets home from work?" he asked.
"I guess so..." the nanny said.
"Great! Thanks! I'll be back in a bit," Daryl said as he handed Levi back to the nanny. "I've got some errands to run real quick."

Daryl's errands include a taxi full of friends and the P.U.R.E. night club. He needs some fresh air after being home all day with the twins, or so he tells himself. Besides it's been a few days since he last went out with friends for some drinking and dancing. He might even get lucky with a new lady tonight. The brunette in the purple dress is kinda pretty, and it's obvious she thinks Daryl is hot stuff.

It looks as if Daryl's best friend, Drake Couderc, has a chance to get lucky tonight too. It seems that Carmen Armstrong has a thing for Drake. Nevermind the fact that she's married and 8 months pregnant. Carmen has cheated on her husband before, so it's really not that surprising. (Don't mind the fact that Carmen doesn't look preggo in this picture...my maternity clothes hack seems to not be working for some reason.) Many of the women downtown and abroad think that Daryl and Drake are the cutest guys around. They certainly have a following of swooning women.

Daryl has a feeling he's being followed. Sure enough, he looks over his shoulder and notices the pretty brunette in the purple dress from the taxi. She hasn't taken her eyes off him all night, and it's starting to get a little creepy. Daryl usually likes women that are outgoing and forward, but this one is just a little too stalkerish for his taste. So he starts looking for a different girl to hook up with tonight.

It looks like Daryl has a shot with Carmen Armstrong if he really wants to. As fun loving and romance-minded as Daryl is, he doesn't want to hook up with married women. Especially really pregnant married women. He's no Walter Steele, after all. Besides, he knows that Carmen has already made a pass at his best friend Drake. He'll just have to keep looking.

He finally finds the girl for him...at least for the night. Nikki Gonzaga is beautiful, single, and rich. She hasn't hooked up with any of his friends, and she hasn't stalked him. He gets to work on woo'ing her, while Carmen looks on. She doesn't look too happy that Daryl chose Nikki instead of her.

But she gets her hopes back up later that night when Daryl, who just made a bunch of grilled hot dogs, offers her the first plate. It can't possibly be a coincidence that he chose her to be the first one to have a hot dog. He must want to hook up with her!
I think the pregnancy hormones are going to her head.
The teeny bopper next to Carmen thinks, "Man, this dude is awesome! I love hot dogs!"

Later on, Carmen gets a chewing out from Sergio Gitano. "You're married and 8 months pregnant...what are you doing at a night club? And what are you doing hitting on Daryl Clayton?! You'll be lucky if this doesn't get back to your husband."
"You're married too Sergio. So, what are you doing here?" Carmen fights back.
"I...um...well I used to be a musician. Yah. So..it's none of your business!" he says. And in fact, he did used to be a musician in Harper's Cove his old town. But he is very much married with 2 kids. Carmen has a point, what's he doin here?!
It doesn't matter much, because in the end Daryl hooked up with Nikki and Drake hooked up with the psycho stalker in the purple dress. So Carmen didn't get any lovin that night! Neither did Sergio for that matter.

While Daryl spends most of his time out on the town having fun, Jan is working hard. She has her fun too, but she's working really hard to get promoted in the athletic track. She's only a team mascot at the moment, but she's hoping for a promotion this year. She can't wait to stop wearing that stupid llama outfit.

Jan is also running for office this election season. She's hoping to become the Secretary of Cultural Affairs, but early preliminary reports show that she is trailing her opponent (Charlene Steele) by a long run. She'll have to get her name out there and win some votes if she has any hopes of winning. Luckily, she lives right above Ector Creelman and his family. Ector is the only candidate and thus the winner by default for the position of Vice President. Jan never dreamed she'd live right next door to the Vice President of Brisbee!
"What do you think I should do to get more people to vote for me?" Jan asks Ector.
"Well, not many people really know you Jan. And don't take offense to this, but you're very young and don't have much actual experience. So you're going to have a harder time showing people that you are capable of handling this office and its responsibilities," he says.
"Ok. Hey Ector, I'll vote for you if you vote for me!" she tells him.
"Uh, I don't have to run for office since I'm the only candidate Jan," he says. Ector is beginning to think she may not be the best person for the job if she can't even keep up with current events.

Jan also talks to Ector's wife, Bella Creelman. Bella is also running for public office. She hopes to be the Secretary of Health & Science. "So what kinds of things are you hoping to accomplish if you are elected?" Bella asks.
"Oh, you know. World peace sounds great," Jan replies.

"Jan, I think you have the wrong idea about being a government official. It's not all about giving speeches on television and travelling around the country," Bella says. "It's about working hard for the best of your country and it's not an easy job. And you're not going to get elected unless you know what you're talking about. Maybe you should start taking this seriously and showing people you mean business."
Jan never really thought about how much work it was going to be if she got the job. But even knowing that now, she still wants to get elected. She devotes herself to learning everything she can about the cultural affairs of the country and how she can help make a difference. To vote for Jan (or her opponent!) check out the election page and then vote on the sidebar.

Otherwise, I doubt Daryl and Jan would have ever had children. But now they've got 2, and they don't really seem interested! Lol, poor kids.
I was surprised by the way Carmen Armstrong was acting. I thought she learned her lesson after she got burned by Walter Steele. But alas, she's swooning over every man she walks by. And I'm really sad that my pregnancy clothes hack isn't working. The pictures and story would have been a lot better if it would have shown Jan and Carmen pregnant. Oh well, I guess I'll have to go fix it!
Also, excuse the somewhat blurry details in the pictures. My computer goes all poopy when I play apartment lots. Just too much for it to handle. But I tried to sharpen them up as best I could.
Bonus Pics:

It seems the really rich man townie thinks the really rich woman townie is smokin' hot! They'd sure make one heck of a power couple!

Ector Creelman looks like he's out campaigning here. Even though he's not running against anyone. He walked around the whole lot greeting everyone in sight. I can just hear him now: "Hello. My name's Ector Creelman. Vote for me for Vice President!"

Elections 2011 -- Make Your Voice Heard!
Welcome to the first government elections in Brisbee Downs! In the past, all of my hoods have used only the community score formula to vote for leaders. So this is the first time that I'm going more in depth with who wants to run for office and I am now letting you vote for who you think should be elected to office! Needless to say, I am very excited about this new system and I can't wait to see how it turns out.
For more info on the government and elections of Brisbee Downs, see this post.
I would like to preface this election by saying that most of the positions are for story-telling purposes only, although each position will be responsible for keeping track of the government funds for their area of the community. For example, the Secretary of the Treasury collects all tax monies from residents and divies it up to the other secretaries of state for use in community building projects or funding of services, etc. So the Secretary of Education would hold the monies allotted to the education department and allocate it accordingly. I'll probably also hold mock meetings to discuss issues when they arise, or to officially change laws and policies when I decide to change my mind!
So, voting will begin now and will end in two months time (game time). It's currently March of 2012, so the results will be announced in May of 2012. That should give everyone enough time to vote and me enough time to get things situated! Now then, here are all of the candidates for each position. Not all positions are being voted on due to the fact that only one person was interested in running for the position. Choose wisely! The government of Brisbee Downs is in your hands!

__________________________
This is the new way I'm going to play the government and elections of Brisbee Downs. I think everything is pretty much self explanatory, but I will discuss one thing a little more in depth.
Choosing Candidates (Who decides to run for office?)
Only 2 sims will be allowed to officially run for the same office during the same election. In other words, there will only be 2 candidates to choose from for each job. That just makes it easier to tally a vote and easier for everyone to keep track of who's who!
Of course there will be more than 2 sims who want to run for office, and that's where community score will come in to play. The two people with the two highest community scores will become the official candidates for office. Think of community score as the preliminary election. My community score formula (friends of voting age (18+) + political interest + charisma skill) will do all the deciding of who will become an official candidate.
Once the two candidates for each government position have been decided on, an open election will occur in which you (my faithful friends and readers!) will cast your votes on election day! I will make an update telling you all of the qualifications and history of each candidate and then you will make your voice heard by voting for the next government officials of Brisbee Downs!
I think this will be really fun, and the first ever election will be held very soon. I'm too impatient to wait for my sims to rebuild all their skills and get experience in their jobs. So I randomized job levels, skill points and other qualification stuff! Now I just need to snap a few pictures and post the update.
Also, this first election is going to be held before June comes to Brisbee Downs because of my impatience! But in the future elections will begin in June and results will be announced in August every 4 years (every 2 rounds).
As always, if you have any questions or need me to clear something up...just leave a comment and I'll do my best to answer it!

Fun in the Sun
BDU Spring Break 2012 - Trevory Clayton, Lainey Northcliffe, Meadow Thayer, & Melanie Winfield are 21; Jesse Clayton, Emily Northcliffe, Charity Randolph, & Matthew Winfield are 19.

This is the kids' first spring break in Brisbee Downs, and what do they do? They leave! They skipped town for the week and went to the beach. None of the kids wanted to miss this fun adventure; even Jesse Clayton took his nose out of the books he's so fond of and went on vacation with his friends.

The kids got some hotel rooms in a little motel within walking distance of the beach. They all deserve a break after the semester and a half they've been through. But noone deserves a break more than Lainey Northcliffe. She's had it rough after her troubles with Trevor and her best friend, and she's really looking forward to a week of nothing but fun in the sun.

But she thinks it would be best to start her week off slowly, so she grabs her old jump rope that she brought with her. There's nothing like jumping rope in the lobby of a cheap motel while the beautiful ocean awaits you outdoors.

While Lainey is breaking in her jump rope in the lobby, Charity and Jesse give the pool a try. Everyone is shocked that Jesse agreed to come on this trip in the first place. He spent all last semester studying and even his dormmated never really saw him around. And when he ends up enjoying the vacation instead of doing some preemptive studying, everyone is even more suprised. Charity never noticed before, but that Jesse is pretty hot!

Charity and Jesse seem to be the only ones interested in enjoying the beachy vacation they all came here for. Lainey's jumping rope in the lobby, Emily and Matthew can't be found, and Trevor and Melanie are taking advantage of the giant bed in their room. They only are allowed to have single beds at the dorms, and they just aren't big enough to woohoo on. So far, Trevor and Melanie haven't left their room.

Jesse is getting antsy for the beach, so he goes looking around to find his friends. It's time to go and he's ready to go now! He finally finds Matthew and Emily although he's wishing he really wouldn't have. He walks in on a naked Matthew lounging on the bed watching TV. Emily comes out of the bathroom and is shocked to see Jesse in the room, although Jesse notices that she's not shocked to see naked Matthew on the bed. Jesse thought those two broke up last semester, but it seems he was wrong. He really needs to pay more attention to what's going on with his friends rather than studying all the time.

Everyone finally gets in their swimsuits and they all head to the beach. Trevor and Charity head straight for the ocean. Charity has been dying to go in the ocean ever since their plane landed on the island. It wasn't as fun as she thought though. The current was strong, the waves were huge, and she felt like she was being tossed around like a rag doll! She almost drowned and to top it all off she got water in her ears! "That's enough of the ocean for me," she thinks.

Meanwhile, Meadow is getting all oiled up for a nice session of sunbathing. Lainey tells her, "You know it's the hottest part of the day Meadow. You better put on some sunscreen if you're gonna lay out right now. You don't want to get a sunburn on our first day here!"
"Sunscreen?! How will I ever get a tan with sunscreen on?" Meadow scoffs.

Later on, Charity and Lainey join Meadow in sunbathing. They notice that Meadow's been out there awhile, but they think she's just enjoying the heat after such a cold winter. So they lay down their blankets close by and chat a little while getting a nice tan. Doesn't it just look relaxing?

But it turns out that Meadow had fallen asleep! And everyone just let her lay there, thinking she was enjoying her time in the sun. So when she woke up, she was as red as a lobster! And boy was she mad! Oomph, that sure looks painful. Lainey holds back the urge to say "I told you so!".

The kids don't leave the beach just because night has fallen. The sun might be down, but there is still fun to be had at the beach. And what's more fun than talking about school around a romantic campfire on the beach under the starlight? Actually, Melanie is telling Trevor how surprised she is that his brother decided to come on this trip. "He's usually so caught up in school. I think it's great that he's finally getting a life outside of studying."
"He's always been a bookworm," Trevor says. "He would rather read than hang out with his friends."
"Yeah but look at him now! He hasn't picked up a book all week! And I think he's actually having fun," Melanie says.
"Now if only we could find him a girl," Trevor says.

Lainey is really enjoying their vacation. Even though Trevor and Melanie are not trying to hide their feelings for each other, and are spending the entire trip attached at the lips, Lainey is having a great time. She's spent time with her girlfriends, and she's really had a good time being single on this trip. She feels like she's really coming out of her shell and she's even taken a fire-dancing class.

But she really only took the class because of the hot guy in the grass skirt that was teaching it. He sure looked good twirling that stick of fire!

Charity has really enjoyed this trip too. She has been so stressed lately, what with school work and the whole situation with Emily and Matthew. She doesn't understand why Emily got so upset about her kissing Matt. It's not like Emily and Matt were dating or anything. But now they're both mad at her and have ignored her the entire time they've been on the island. But it's given her the opportunity to get to know Jesse better, and she thinks that she might really like him.

But Jesse has feelings for a different girl. Not feelings really, but he sure does think his brother's girlfriend is hot. Melanie is one pretty girl, but Jesse could never do anything to hurt his brother. So he just resorts to swooning over her from afar.
And by the way, have you ever gotten into a hottub while sunburned? Poor Meadow, that's gotta hurt! But she seems to be okay.

Jesse couldn't pass up the opportunity to get a little education on the trip. He persuades the gang to visit a local historical spot; an archaelogical site that has some ancient ruins. Much history to be had here. The rest of the gang spend their time at the tourist trap on the site, while Jesse really immerses himself in the history of the temple ruins. He decides to not tempt the gods and makes an offering to the ancient deity. He gives up when nothing happens and the group heads back to the beach!

He can't deny that he's had a lot of fun on this trip. He's spent time with his friends, engaged in activities that did not include reading or schoolwork, and even had some flirtations with a girl. He might think that Melanie Winfield is the prettiest girl he's ever seen, but Charity Randolph has really started to grow on him. She's cute and spunky and she really knows how to make him laugh.

But what college vacation would be complete without a little bit of drama? Lainey tells her little sister, "So Emily, I'm so happy that you worked things out with Matt. You guys look so cute together."
"Thanks Lainey. Since I moved out of the dorms and got away from Charity, I've been much happier. I can't believe I was ever friends with that slut," Emily says while Matthew just listens.

Unfortunately, Charity was close by and heard every word of their conversation. At one time she was best friends with Emily, and it hurts her to hear that Emily feels that way about her. And Matt standing their looking so smug! He is just as guilty, if not more so, in this situation! And she just can't let this go without saying something.
"Look Emily, it's not totally my fault. You guys weren't dating. You had one little kiss at a drunken party for crying out loud," she says. "Besides, Matt kissed me back."
Emily had heard enough. "Shut up Charity. You're a backstabber and a slut no matter how you want to tell the story. I kicked your butt once, I'll do it again!"
Even Matthew is mad at Charity. He's scared that she's going to ruin his chances with Emily, and he's just gained her trust back.
A fight ensues, and Emily does indeed kick Charity's butt once more.

The rest of the gang finally pulls the girls apart, and Matt takes Emily away to cool off. They cuddle together under the stars, with the sound of the waves in the background. Emily has finally completely forgiven Matthew for that kiss with Charity, but she's not sure why she can't forgive Charity. She thinks it's just different when your best friend betrays you like that.

On their last night at the beach, the friends hang out by the campfire. They have all had a great week, even after last night's drama. None of them want the vacation to end, even Jesse doesn't particularly want to go back to school. But they've still got to finish out this semester, and with this group, that will be anything but boring!

In This Rowdy Household
March 2012, spring - Gregory & Annabelle are 42, Harmony is 18, Faith is 11, Theodore & Patience are 5.

The Randolph family can be summarized in one word: children. With a total of five children they are the largest family in the entire country. There is never a quiet moment in this rowdy household, and sometimes Annabelle wonders what she was ever thinking to have so many kids!

The twins Theodore and Patience, have recently turned 5 years old. They started Pre-K(5) this year and are already excited about starting kindergarten next August. Being the youngest of 5 children, the twins are always vying for attention. And because they are the babies of the family, they always get what they want.

Faith is the middle child. She is in the 5th grade this year and is about to celebrate her 12th birthday. She is at that age where kids really start to become social and she constantly has her two best friends in the whole wide world over to play and have sleepovers. Sapphire Harbin and Dahlia Gitano are in the 5th grade too, and the 3 girls are inseparable.

Because the Randolphs have so many kids, they have installed a playground right in their very own backyard. This helps keep the kids entertained, but it also means that their house is the meeting place for kids from all over. Both Sapphire and Dahlia live in Teesbury City with their families, and yet they always seem to gather at the Randolph's house. Faith doesn't mind, but Annabelle and Gregory already have their hands full with kids of their own much less other peoples' kids!

When her friends are over, Faith claims the playground as her own. It's bad enough that she has to share a room with her little sister; she doesn't want to share the playground too. It's sooo embarrassing in front of her friends when her little sister and brother come around.

But the little kids inevitably find their way out to where Faith and her friends are playing. Patience is like any other little sister who likes to follow her big sister around. Especially when her big sister's friends are over. But Faith can't stand it. Their mother always tells her to include her little sister in the fun, but Faith just doesn't think it's fair that she's expected to play with a 5 year old. She's almost 12 years old, and 5 year olds are so not cool.

And it's even worse when Theodore starts following her around too.
"Patience, Theodore, go away!! You're too little to hang out with us," Faith yells at her little brother and sister.
"We wanna play too," Patience says.
"Mommy said we can," Theodore chimes in.
"We totally can't play with 5 year olds," Sapphire says. "That's soooo uncool."
Faith, who's normally very nice to her little sister and brother, doesn't want to look bad in front of her friends. So she pushes Patience off the merry-go-round.

Patience isn't physically hurt at all, but her feelings are. She goes running inside screaming "Mommy!!!!! Faith pushed me off the round thing!!!!"
Being the protective older brother of 2 minutes says to Faith "You're a meanie-head!" before running after his twin sister.

Annabelle knows that the kids are bound to fight sometimes and she usually encourages them to work out their differences on their own. But she in no way allows physical fighting or bullying. So she sends Faith to her room after a scolding, and she calls Sapphire and Dahlia's parents to come pick them up. Faith is beyond embarrassed and definitely mad at her mother. Annabelle then spends the rest of the afternoon playing outside with Patience and Theodore. There's just never a quiet moment with these kids!

Harmony seems to be the only Randolph that can find any peace and quiet in the house. She is turning 19 this year and is a senior at Brisbee Downs Public High School. She isn't really sure if she wants to go to college or not, but she figured that it wouldn't hurt to apply to Brisbee Downs University. It would be nice to get out of the house at least, and her older sister Charity attends BDU also. But for these last few months at home, Harmony spends most of her time in her room trying to ignore all of the noise in the rest of the house.

Annabelle has always dreamt of raising a bunch of puppies, so she decides that she's going to do just that! She goes down to the local pet shop and picks out 2 adorable dogs. While she's there she sees that the pet shop is packed with people. She begins to think that this pet business could really make some good money. So Annabelle starts planning to start a home business. She wants to breed and raise puppies and then sell them to other residents. They have plenty of room back at home to set up a kennel of sorts, and Annabelle can't wait to get the business started! Of course, she needs for her dogs to have puppies first!

Adopting the two dogs turned out to be a good idea also because it was just in time for Faith's birthday. Faith was beyond excited that she now had 2 pets, and the prospect of puppies made her even happier! The other kids really enjoyed having the dogs too.

For Faith's birthday the family went down to the skating rink in the City Center on Churchill Street. It has a great roller-skating rink this time of year and all of the kids have been dying to go skating. Even Annabelle and Greg have a good time skating.

But they have an even better time in the photo booth. They got some great pictures together, and the evening almost felt like a real date...even with their kids there too. They're both hoping that they'll be able to spend more and more time alone together as their kids continue to get older.

Harmony didn't go skating with the family. She's working hard on building enough skills to get accepted to BDU for the fall semester. Graduation is only a few months away and she's running out of time to apply for college.

Faith is excited to almost be a teenager. She feels so much more grown up now that she's 12. She's already asking her dad if she can get a job and make some money. Greg just laughs and tells her that she's still got a few years before she's old enough for a job but that there's plenty of chores around the house she can do in the meantime.
"Sure, dad. But only if you pay me," Faith says.
Greg just sighs. She's acting like a teenager already. He's already raised 2 teenagers and the thought of raising 3 more isn't very appealing!

Sorry for the late update! I'm taking a full load of college classes online this spring and this week has been crazy busy. That's also why this update is kind of scatter-brained. I think my brain has gone on vacation, and I don't blame it after the busy week I've had!
The little spat between Faith and Patience was a random event that was rolled for this round ("completely silly fight"). They get along rather well, but I did notice that Faith made some pretty mean faces when Theodore and Patience came out to the playground. And Dahlia and Sapphire refused to play on the playground when the little kids were out there. So the fight really just fit right in!
I mentioned earlier in the post that the Randolph's are the largest family in the country. So I'd like to explain a little bit of big picture Brisbee Downs information. Brisbee is the name of the country and Brisbee Downs is a city in it. Teesbury City is another city in the country of Brisbee. As more residents move around and spread out, other cities will pop up. Eventually there will be official government positions including a President of the entire country and Mayors of each city. But that probably won't happen until after I've played a couple of rounds and let the sims get some experience at their jobs. I plan on having minimum requirements to apply for each government position, and so far none of my sims would meet those requirements. But that's just a little insight on what Brisbee Downs is.
I was watching for Walter Steele to show up in this play session since he now has the hots for Annabelle and she for him. But Annabelle is very much in love with her husband and had absolutely no wants related to Walter. So it seems that there is one married sim in this entire country that doesn't want Walter!
Bonus Pics:

Dahlia Gitano tells Sapphire Harbin that her daddy used to be a very famous musician in the last town they lived in. If you followed my Harper's Cove neighborhood you'll remember that Sergio Gitano was a famous musician in Harper's Cove and abroad. These sims really seem to remember their lives in Harper's Cove, even though they're just clones!

Abhijeet Deppiesse tells Patricia Winfield, "Aren't these eggs delicious?!"
And Patricia says, "Dude, these are lunchmeat sandwiches, you wierdo!"

Now She's Very Upset
February 2012, winter - Yael and Calista are 25, Ella and Emma are 1.

Calista Francis is still very angry about the situation with Walter Steele. She doesn't understand why he got so mad at her when he's the one who has been cheating on his wife! It's not her fault that his secret got out, that fault lies with Ray Armstrong. But Walter didn't slap Ray. He slapped Calista, and now she's very upset.

In fact, she's so upset about the whole thing that she just can't stand living in the trailer park anymore. She tells Yael that she can no longer live next door to that woman-beater, Walter Steele. Yael is such a sweet man and he wants nothing more than for his wife to be happy and for his family to be safe. He thinks it's a great idea and the perfect time to move out of the trailer park. After all, he might end up killing Walter Steele if he comes near his wife again. So it probably is best if they get out of there!

So they take out a mortgage on a beautiful house on Shrewsbury Court. It is much much bigger than their old trailer and even has an office for Yael and a nursery for the girls. It's also in a much better neighborhood and the best part is that Walter Steele is all the way on the other side of town!

Yael and Calista had twin girls, Emma and Ella, in February of 2011, and for the last year they were crammed into a one bedroom trailer. They had to get rid their kitchen table and bookcase just so they could fit in two cribs, and they didn't have room for a changing table at all. So you can imagine how excited they were to move into a house that was big enough for all four of them.

Another great thing about this new neighborhood they're in is that they have some very nice neighbors. The Winfields live on the corner of Chester Drive and Shrewsbury Court and so do the Deppiesses. Both of those families have young children which will be great for when Emma and Ella get older. Yael and Calista have set up a standing game night and everyone on the street comes over the same night every week to have fun. So they've already made some very good friends.

But Calista finds things to get mad at her new neighbors about too. They were throwing the twins a party for their first birthday and they invited all of their new neighbors over to celebrate. But Lloyd and Patricia Winfield showed up to the party without a present for the girls. Calista was very upset about this and made sure that everyone knew it. She's got quite a temper.

The party ended up being a success despite Calista's outburst. Their new neighbors are getting used to Calista's frequent temper tantrums and have started to just ignore it. So everyone had a good time singing Happy Birthday to the twins and an even better time eating the delicious birthday cake!

The girls mostly take after their father, they both have his black hair and light blue eyes. Everyone thinks they are very cute and will grow up to be just as pretty as their mother...although they hopefully won't be as grouchy!

The girls are definitely cute, but they're also quite a handful. Thankfully, both Patricia Winfield and Maya Deppiesse offered to help the young parents out by babysitting every so often. Yael and Calista plan on taking advantage of their kind offer to have a date night once in awhile or just to catch up on some much needed sleep.

When the babysitters aren't there the only thing that keeps Yael and Calista somewhat sane is the activity table that the Deppiesses gave to the twins on their birthday. The girls spend hours on that table and their parents are deeply grateful to the Deppiesses for the thoughtful gift. And after being yelled at, I'm sure the Winfields will remember to bring a gift next time!

As for the trailer park, Walter Steele has now forced two families to move away! But in this case, I really think Calista has an anger problem. The funny thing is, she's already studied the anger management skill! Lol, she's just a mean simmie!
